Meal Plan Basics

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2008-2009 academic year. If you need to purchase a meal plan, Please contact the Business office.

Plan Options

We are offering five different meal plans this year which allows you the flexibility to select a meal plan that will fit your dining needs. Each Meal Plan includes “unlimited seconds” (for resident dining hall meals). You can eat as much as you like, with the exception of steak or similar premium entrees.

The Traditional 19 Meal Plan
The 19 meal plan allows for one meal per period for each meal served during the week. This meal plan may be perfect for all students, but especially for those living here full time and here on the weekends.

The 15 Meal Plan
The 15 meal plan allows one meal per meal period {up to 15 meals per week}. As a bonus $40 in Munch Money is provided per semester to be used on snacks, not in the meal equivalency program. This is recommended for full time students who wish to eat all their meals on campus during the week but plan to go off campus on the weekends.

The 135 Block Meal Plan
This block meal plan enables you to enjoy 135 meals throughout the semester. The meals you choose are at your convenience. Also $70 in Munch Money is provided per semester; Munch Money can be used on snacks and items not in the meal equivalency program. For the student on the go who balances work, school, and community involvement.

The 110 Block Meal Plan
This block meal plan enables you to enjoy 110 meals throughout the semester. The meals you choose are at your convenience. Also $125 in Munch Money is provided per semester; Munch Money can be used on snacks and items not in the meal equivalency program. For our busiest students who need to have a nutritious meal fit into their schedules.

Commuter Plan
This plan provides the opportunity to purchase snacks and meals on campus without carrying cash. The plan works well for students commuting to campus as well as faculty and staff. It also is a great add on option for our resident students.

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

• Please bus your tray and disposables from your table when you have finished dining

• Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.

• Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.

• Take only what you can eat in the dining area as we want to make sure all are fed and satisfied, but that we don’t waste food, as others in the world go hungry
